Indian Mobile Phone Subscribers at End of 3Q 05

According to a recent announcement by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), the number of mobile phone subscribers stood at 65.1 million at the end of September, marking a sequential growth of 13.4% in the third quarter. Furthermore, teledensity - which includes fixed-line and mobile phones - reached 10.4 at the end of the third quarter.
